The Webley Revolver (also known as the Webley Top-Break
Revolver or Webley Self-Extracting Revolver) was, in various
marks, the standard issue service pistol for the armed forces
of the United Kingdom, the British Empire, and the
Commonwealth from 1887 until 1963. Seen not only in a myriad
of well known movies such as Zulu, the Lawrence of Arabia and
Indiana Jones, the Webley MK VI service pistol was seen in the
hands of thousands of English and Canadian soldiers in the
closing years of the 19th century and well into the middle of the
20th century. Known as one of the most powerful break top
revolvers ever produced, it is still seen in use throughout the
former British empire and are highly sought after by collectors.
If you put your Co2 gun next to the real steel pistol, you may not
be able to tell them apart.
Both guns use cartridge shells.
The BB gun's shells are .455 a reference to the firearm caliber.
Both guns field-strip the same way!
Shells in both guns eject the same way.
The lanyard loop on the BB gun does double duty as the
tightening screw to help properly pierce the Co2 cartridge.
Does not work with any speedloaders or other brands of cartridge
shells, even though they may look very similar.
