As stated in the name, this version of the VFC FN Herstal FNX-45 is a real highlight within the series. As already mentioned, the basic structure is the authentic airsoft replica of the FNX-45 Tactical from VFC in black. Black Sheep Arms disassembles these into individual parts and coats the frame and slide in the original high-quality Cerakote finish. With this pistol, Black Sheep Arms relies on the licensed Multicam camouflage pattern in the so-called Multicam Black color scheme. In combination with the black controls and the outer barrel, this results in a perfect and particularly high-quality appearance. Cerakote coatings are the world standard in finishing firearms and gun parts. The military also uses this coating technology in many countries, which underscores the durability and durability of the coating. All in all a really very nice pistol that cuts an excellent figure on the field and of course in every showcase.
Since the basic model is the FNX-45 GBB - Gas Blow Back model from the Taiwanese premium airsoft manufacturer VFC, a very high manufacturing quality is of course ensured. This is the tactical model from the FN Herstal FNX-45 pistol series. Thanks to the FN Herstal license, the replica has all the original logos and lettering. These are neatly worked or cast deep into the material, which is why the pistol is also ideal for collectors. Of course, the consecutive serial number should not be missing, which makes each model unique. This is located within the underbarrel rail section. The VFC Airsoft replica has white circles on the rear sight and grain, which makes aiming easier. Due to the many steel and aluminum parts inside, the pistol can be operated with "Green Gas" without any problems. The grip made of polymer plastic, which looks confusingly similar to the original, was also beautifully reproduced. As with the original, all levers on the airsoft version of the FNX-45 Tactical can be used on both sides, so the pistol can be used without restriction by right- and left-handed shooters.
The way the VFC airsoft replica fires is like the original pistol: first insert a loaded magazine, then pull the slide backwards. The pistol is now ready to fire. If the trigger is pulled, thanks to the gas-blow-back shot system, the metal slide is moved backwards and forwards with each shot, just like in a real pistol. This results in a true-to-original shot feeling, since there is also a metallic sound when shooting. If the magazine is empty, the slide stops at the back like in a real pistol. After inserting a new or loaded magazine, the slide catch must also be pressed in order to be able to continue shooting.
In addition to the already attached back strap, a thinner version is also included in the scope of delivery. This can be changed easily and without tools. The shooter can adjust the pistol perfectly thanks to the two backstraps of different thicknesses. Another interesting feature is the outer barrel with an integrated 16mm right-hand thread for attaching a silencer. Of course, an adjustable hop-up system is also one of the pistol's features. All parts are very cleanly processed and have a surface finish that is true to the original. VFC quality as you are used to it!
