Before highlights and airsoft description, as usual, a litte bit of History:
G3 in 5.56x45mm Nato
Heckler & Koch HK33 is a 5.56mm rifle developed in the1960s by West German armament manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH, also known as H&K, and is primarily for export use.
Built on the success of their G3 battle rifle design, the company developed a family of small arms, all using the G3 operating principle and basic design concept, consisting of four types of firearms.
The first type, chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO.
The second, using the soviet 7.62x39 M43 round.
The third, chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO
Finally, the fourth type, chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge. Commercially, the HK33 was an overall successful design, but not as successful as the more widely known G3 7.62x51 NATO.
The HK33 series of rifles was adopted by the FAB, Brazilian Air Force, the armed forces of Thailand, and Malaysia, where they were produced under a licensed agreement.
The rifle was also licensed built in Turkey by MKEK, and exported from France, branded as MAS, but was actually made in Germany.
Now to the replica:
this HK33 is a selective fire weapon with Heckler & Koch's roller delayed blowback system of operation.
It employs a two piece bolt consisting of a bolt head with a pair of rollers and a bolt carrier. This HK33 is a modular weapon system.
Its butt stock, fore stock, and pistol grip/fire control assembly may be changed at will in a variety of configurations.
Simple push pins hold the components in place, and removing them will allow the user to remove and replace parts rapidly.
The rifle is disassembled into the following components for maintenance:
the receiver/barrel, stock with return spring, bolt assembly, and trigger pack in the pistol grip.
A faithful 1:1 replica of the German Cold War classic, much like the HK53 GBB Airsoft rifle that came before it.
Just like their real steel counterparts, as well as the Umarex Elite Force H&K G3 and MP5s, the HK33 is made of stamped sheet steel and high quality polymers, giving it the same robustness you could expect from the real deal itself.
This HK33, like the G3 and some earlier model MP5s, features a classic lower SEF style receiver, but instead of having the standard S, E, and F markings, it comes with numericals 0, 1, and 25, with 0 meaning safe, 1 meaning semi auto, and 25 for full auto, making this quite unique among the Umarex Elite Force H&K family of Airsoft replicas with the exception of the HK53.
Internally, VFC has beefed up the HK33 by equipping it with a big bore cylinder assembly, and a heavy recoil buffer with complementary recoil springs to give the HK33 GBB Airsoft rifle a more stout and defined felt recoil, yet still keeping a realistic cyclic rate of fire.
This HK33 gas Airsoft rifle features VFC's new Hop Up adjustment system, meaning you can adjust the hop up by simply removing the handguard and rotating the dial, allowing you to adjust the hop without needing to remove the magazine.
This Umarex Elite Force HK33 GBBR airsoft rifle overall is an authentic piece of airsoft equipment, with it replicating the real steel HK33 down to the last minute details!
