this STEN Mk II S SOE Commando Grip is one of the most recognizable suppressed weapon platforms used in special operations before the era of modern suppressed
systems such as the MP5SD.
As early as the 1940s, it was used by British commandos in special operations
across Europe, and its simplified construction allowed for easy adaptation to
various combat conditions.
In later decades, the platform was also used outside Europe,including in special
 operations in Southeast Asia, where it saw action in covert missions around
the Vietnam Cambodia border.
Notably, the configuration with a suppressor and pistol grip was particularly
valued by operators for its compactness and effectiveness in stealth operations.

an extremely simplified design.

worked in combination with a modified barrel to reduce the sound signature.
